In
2008 new owners acquired the
former bed and breakfast located on
the property, and re-opened it as
Quiet Walker Lodge Bed and
Breakfast Inn a few months
later. After remodeling the rooms and
performing some extensive maintenance to
the exterior of the thirty year old
lodge, our first customers arrived in
August of that year. A revitalized
Dubuque bed and
breakfast was ready for our
guests, and did they come! Our guests soon discovered that we were the perfect spot for a romantic weekend, anniversary getaways, wedding and honeymoon needs and just plain relaxing and enjoying nature at a secluded Iowa B & B.

Here is what some of our guests
have said about Quiet Walker Lodge Bed
and Breakfast:

"The Quiet Walker Lodge was the best idea we ever had! When we arrived, Carol came outside and greeted us. She showed us to our room. We stayed in Bella Vita. The refrigerator was stocked with a couple of sodas, some waters, some cheese, and a package of crackers. On top of the microwave, there was a tray with the crackers and two types of corkscrews, the type of thing you always forget to bring when you have a bottle of wine! We slept well the first night. The next morning we were served a delicious quiche, croissants,. fresh fruit, bread, coffee, and juice. A well need start to the day."

"I was very pleasantly surprised. I found the listing for this and it looked like a very romantic place. Planned the weekend as a total suprise for my husband for our anniversary. It was a great get away and I loved the personal service and touches. It was our first B&B experience and we definitely will do it again."

"My husband and I have stayed at many bed and breakfasts. So far and this one beats them all. Our room was so nice and cozy and the view was wonderful. I love the fall colors and the breakfast was awesome. Carol was so nice and I can't wait to go back and stay there again. This was a very romantic place. Our room was the Bella Vita and we just loved it."
